Evondos® services
Our service already supports tens of thousands of people who rely on regular medication, ensuring it is taken safely and correctly with the help of our automatic, digital medication dispenser. In doing so, we aim improve patient safety and provide adherence to their treatment. Evondos empowers individuals to remain independent in their own homes, thus easing the pressure on care services, enabling staff to be able to focus on more complex needs.
The three shifts: A smarter, more sustainable NHS starts here and now
As health systems adapt to meet the challenges of an ageing population, the NHS’s 10-Year Plan outlines three vital shifts: delivering care closer to people’s homes, harnessing better technology, and emphasising prevention over cure. These priorities directly reflect the challenges Evondos aims to support. With increasing pressures on healthcare staff and services, health technologies such as automated medication dispensing are already supporting these shifts — empowering patients, easing the burden on carers and delivering safer, more consistent care where it matters most: at home.

Over 100 million medicine doses dispensed
Evondos is an automated medication dispensing robot designed to support people safely at home. Acting as a locked, secure cabinet, it only releases medication at the right time and dose, guiding the user with lights, sound and voice prompts. If medication is missed, it is safely returned to the cabinet and an alert is sent to the care team or next of kin. For those who need more support, the built-in two-way camera allows care staff to observe medication being taken and even monitor health indicators remotely. Every action is securely logged, providing a full audit trail. Already used widely across Europe, Evondos is now available in the UK and Ireland to help people stay independent, while giving care teams the tools to deliver safe, efficient support.
What do our customers think?
The Evondos service is versatile, making it suitable for a wide range of clients with different dilemmas. The only limitations include clients who are not willingly taking their prescribed medicine.
"We initially thought this was only meant for people journeying with dementia or people with Parkinson's, but it's helped every single person we put it out with!"

"After the end of the trial project, implementing Evondos service has meant a reduction by 490 visits per month (81%), meaning a 2 hours and 24 minutes of time saved each day. This meant that we could use the number of staff as before but deliver quality health care to more users/patients than before the trial."

“Before having this, Peter was reliant on having carers to give him his medication. Even though we told them he needed to take his tablets at the same time every day, they continued to turn up 2 hours late each day. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress and frustration for us and for Peter. The Evondos has changed his life; it has given him back independence and control to take his medication in a safe environment.”
